Think in landed cost, not unit price
The cheapest unit price rarely means the cheapest delivered product. Landed cost includes:
- Unit price at your quantity
- Freight (sea/air) and insurance
- Import duties and taxes
- Customs clearance and inland transport
- Any registration or certification costs

Always compare quotes on the same Incoterm and the same specification. A lower FOB price can easily cost more delivered than a higher CIF price once freight and duty are included.
